426 immigration candidates received invitations to apply for provincial nomination for Canada PR from Manitoba

The Canadian province of Manitoba held a new Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 18.

A total of 426 immigration candidates across three PNP Streams – Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education Stream received invitations, also known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination for Canada Permanent Residency in this draw.

Distribution of Invitations

Stream Invitations Issued Minimum Expression of Interest (EOI) score
Skilled Workers in Manitoba 376 464
Skilled Workers Overseas 22 726
International Education Stream 30 No EOI score requirement

Out of total LAAs issued, 68 went to immigration candidates with valid profiles in Federal Express Entry system.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) allows the province to nominate foreign workers and international graduates of its post-secondary institutions for Canadian permanent residence through its three popular immigration streams – Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education stream.

Express Entry candidates, who successfully receive a nomination from the MPNP, get an additional 600 points toward their overall Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. This effectively increases their chances to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the Federal Express Entry draw.

The MPNP has now issued 9,999 invitations so far this year.
